Southwire 63950002 Romex Simpull® cable with ground is a black, 6/3 AWG, 125 ft nonmetallic-sheathed cable, designated as type NM-B, suitable for both exposed and concealed work in normally dry locations, with a maximum temperature rating of 90°C (ampacity limited to that of 60°C conductors). This cable can be installed in air voids of masonry block or tile walls, provided those walls are not wet or damp. It has a voltage rating of 600 volts and meets or exceeds UL standard 83, UL standard 719, federal specification A-A-59544, and the requirements of the National Electrical Code. The construction features copper conductors that are annealed (soft) and include stranded conductors that are compressed stranded. The conductor insulation is made from 90°C-rated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a nylon jacket. Southwire’s Simpull® design facilitates easier pulling, leading to a more manageable installation. The cable jacket is color-coded for quick size identification: white for 14 AWG, yellow for 12 AWG, orange for 10 AWG, and black for 8 AWG and 6 AWG.
