Galflex® Type RWS (Reduced Wall Steel) Flexible Metal Conduit, 1-1/4 is designed for various installations including environmental air-handling spaces per NEC® 300.22(C), power and lighting branch circuit connections, motor feeders, remote-control circuit conductors, fire alarm systems, and communication cables among others. It serves as a metal raceway per NEC® Article 348 and is suitable for both concealed and exposed installations, as well as for elevators, hoistways, and escalators according to NEC® 620.21, functioning as a grounding conductor for lengths up to 6 feet with a 20A maximum as per NEC® 250.118(5). The conduit is UL listed per UL 1 and meets CSA standards, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Constructed from a galvanized, corrosion-resistant high-strength steel alloy, Galflex® Type RWS is helically formed into a continuously interlocked flexible metal conduit that can endure impact and crushing forces. The conduit meets Federal Specification WW-C-566C and is designated as NEC type FMC (Flexible Metal Conduit).
