The Tri-Power classical section molded notch v-belt is engineered with Gates proprietary construction, providing an exceptional combination of flexibility and load carrying capacity while minimizing stretch for reduced maintenance needs. This belt is designed for optimal performance in demanding heavy-duty A, B, and C section industrial drives, making it suitable for various industrial applications, especially those requiring small or sub-minimal sheave diameters. The molded notches enhance its compatibility with smaller diameter sheaves, while the machined belt edge ensures uniform sheave groove contact, which decreases slip and wear. Additionally, the flex-bonded cords are securely attached to the belt body, promoting equal load distribution and absorption of bending stresses without cord deterioration. The belt meets RMA oil and heat resistant standards as well as RMA static conductivity requirements. Tri-Power belts are offered in AX, BX, and CX sizes, with those longer than 210 inches featuring a banded, cut notch construction.
