The Tri-Power Classical Section Molded Notch V-Belt is constructed using Gates proprietary construction, providing an exceptional combination of flexibility and load carrying capacity, which results in reduced stretch and less maintenance over time. This belt is designed for superior performance in demanding heavy-duty A, B, and C section industrial drives, particularly in applications that require small or sub-minimal sheave diameters. The molded notches, created during manufacturing, enhance its suitability for drives with smaller diameter sheaves. The belt's edge is machined to ensure even contact with the sheave groove, which minimizes slip and wear. Additionally, flex-bonded cords are strongly attached to the belt body for uniform load distribution and effective absorption of bending stress, preventing cord deterioration. The belt complies with RMA oil and heat resistant standards as well as RMA static conductivity requirements. Tri-Power belts are available in AX, BX, and CX sizes, and those longer than 210 inches feature a banded, cut notch construction. This belt is applicable for use in Thermo King, RD-I SSIV, all applicable engines, evaporator fan, alternator, and compressor applications.
