The Stretch Fit Micro-V Serpentine Drive Belt is designed for highly engineered Stretch Fit Drive Systems, featuring exclusive self-tensioning technology that ensures a precise fit and reliable performance. This aftermarket belt is constructed with patented EPDM ribs that exhibit excellent resistance to oil leaks, wear, and pilling. It incorporates Gates engineered tensile cord, which combines strength and flexibility through advanced polyamide construction. The specially formulated adhesive effectively locks onto the cord, allowing it to elongate and stretch without losing tension. Prior to installation, the belts are shorter than the actual working length, but once installed, they automatically tension, maintaining the appropriate tension throughout their lifespan for optimal load-carrying capacity.
