The Super HC narrow section molded notch V-belt is specifically designed for special drives where space and weight limitations are critical. This V-belt can transmit up to three times the horsepower of classical cross-sections (A, B, C, and D) within the same drive space, making it ideal for various industrial applications, particularly those where space, weight, and horsepower capacity are significant concerns. The belt features Gates curves that provide optimal cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove, ensuring uniform loading, wear, and increased belt life. It incorporates flex-bonded cords that are strongly bonded to the belt's body, resulting in equal load distribution and effective absorption of bending stress without cord deterioration. Additionally, the Flex-weave cover offers a patented construction that extends cover life and provides enhanced protection to the core of the belt against oil, dirt, and heat. This product meets or exceeds RMA standards for static conductivity, heat resistance, and oil resistance.
