The kit includes a pack of 12 drill bits featuring a 135° split point that is self-centering, designed for reduced thrust and easier penetration. These bits are manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel with a heavy-duty geometry, and their left-hand helix design makes them ideal for use in screw machines where the machine spindle rotation is counter-clockwise. The drill bits provide superior rigidity in portable drilling applications and are finished with straw oxide to minimize galling. Sizes above 11/64" come with three flats on the shank, allowing for tighter chucking and reduced slippage. These drill bits are suitable for maintenance applications in stainless steel, titanium, alloy and carbon steel, cast iron, and hardened steel.
