The kit includes drill bits with a 135° split point that is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration. These bits are manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel with heavy-duty geometry, featuring a left-hand helix that is ideal for use in screw machines where the machine spindle rotation is counter-clockwise. The drill bits provide superior rigidity in portable drilling and are finished with a straw oxide to reduce galling. Sizes above 11/64" have three flats on the shank for tighter chucking and less slippage. They are designed for maintenance applications in materials such as stainless steel, titanium, alloy and carbon steel, cast iron, and hardened steel.
