The kit includes a pack of 6 drills featuring a 135° split point that is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration. Manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, these drills are designed with heavy-duty geometry. The left-hand helix makes them ideal for use in screw machines where the machine spindle rotation is counter-clockwise. They provide superior rigidity in portable drilling applications. The straw oxide finish reduces galling, and drills sized above 11/64" come with three flats on the shank for tighter chucking and less slippage. These tools are suitable for maintenance applications in stainless steel, titanium, alloy and carbon steel, cast iron, and hardened steel.
