The Delta Ultra Light Semi Electric Hospital Bed with Full Rails and Innerspring Mattress is a lightweight, easily assembled semi-electric bed model from Drive Medical, featuring interchangeable universal style head and foot boards with high-impact composite end panels. The foot section is designed to weigh 50 percent less than conventional models, enhancing delivery safety and efficiency. Bed assembly consists of only five components, with the ability for tool-free motor assembly or removal while the patient remains in bed. A 9-volt battery integrated within the motor ensures functionality during power failures, allowing the head and foot sections to be lowered up to nine times without a crank. The hand pendant features large, user-friendly controls, and the kit includes full side rails for added safety and a comfortable innerspring mattress. The bed is constructed with channel frame design and a zinc-coated spring deck to ensure superior strength while minimizing weight. The motor is UL approved, and the bed frame is compatible with Drive's and most other manufacturers' bed ends, both old and new.
