The Gravity 7 Long Term Care Pressure Redistribution Mattress by Drive Medical features a multi-layered, high density foam design to optimize pressure redistribution for individuals in long term care facilities. It includes a top layer of high resilient, die-cut foam that ensures comfort and effective pressure redistribution, while the ultra-soft heel section is specifically engineered to maintain extremely low skin interface pressure to help prevent pressure ulcers. The mattress is equipped with a 2-way stretch cover made from water resistant, vapor permeable nylon, which promotes both comfort and hygiene. Additionally, it offers a low moisture transmission rate (MVT) to keep patients cool, dry, and comfortable. The mattress also includes a 3" elevated perimeter to reduce the risk of patient falls, and the strategically cut out sections facilitate easy transfers in and out of bed.
