The Premier Laboratory Dual Temp Combination units are equipped with separate microprocessor temperature controllers that allow for precise temperature control, verification, and recovery. They feature an interior fan-driven, forced-draft air circulation system that ensures excellent temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings (refrigerators only). Each model includes digital temperature displays for convenient monitoring and critical samples and supplies are protected with an extensive package of audible and visual alarms. The freezer units offer either an automatic or manual defrost operating system, with manual defrost freezers requiring periodic defrosting. These models utilize environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants, which do not contain hydrofluorocarbons, significantly reducing global-warming potential (GWP) while adhering to new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.
