It has a heavyweight cloth backing that supports high-pressure applications and performs well on heat-sensitive metals, suitable for both wet and dry use. The belt includes a grinding aid to reduce running temperatures, protecting heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys, with resin bonding that maintains durability under high heat and pressure. Recommended for use on stainless steel and exotic metal alloys for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings, the proprietary ceramic grain enhances toughness and hardness, while the aluminum oxide blend improves performance and longevity. Ceramic abrasives are designed to cut fast and withstand intense heat and stress, outperforming standard aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability.
