The Cool Stir® large volume magnetic stirrer efficiently stirs fluid volumes ranging from 10 liters to 208 liters (2.5 to 55 gallons), with a continuously adjustable stirring speed of up to approximately 600 RPM, depending on the volume and density. It features a direct drive motor that rotates a powerful rare earth magnet, which couples optimally with 3" to 6" stirring bars (F37122 series and F37118 series, not included). The rugged built-in aluminum support system and durable polypropylene platform are engineered to support up to 220 kg (485 lbs), making it suitable for mixing in regular plastic barrels or drums. The unit, equipped with a 100 watt (1/8 horsepower) air-cooled motor, prevents heat transmission to thermolabile solutions through insulation. The polypropylene sides are designed for easy cleaning. Technical specifications include a DC motor of 100 watts, operating at 50/60 Hz, and a 3-wire grounded cord.
