This highly accurate warming plate is designed to increase cell viability during cell passaging by maintaining cells near an optimal 37°C (± 1°C) outside of the incubator. The unit operates at 220V and is CE marked for compliance. Its dimensions of 17.8 D x 20.3 cm (7 x 8") allow it to fit easily in a cell culture hood or on a workbench. The anodized aluminum warming plate ensures uniform temperature distribution while the UV-resistant polypropylene housing is durable and will not degrade under germicidal UV lights. A 15-minute countdown timer is included to assist with time-sensitive applications, and the water-resistant design allows for safe cleaning with ethanol or IPA, minimizing cell stress and allowing for efficient enzyme activity such as trypsin.
