Increase cell viability during cell passaging with this highly accurate warming plate that maintains cells near an optimal temperature of 37°C (± 1°C) outside of the incubator. The device operates at 220V and is CE marked. It allows you to keep dishes outside the incubator longer while protecting cell viability, thereby reducing cell stress and enabling enzymes like trypsin to function efficiently. The temperature remains uniform across the entire anodized aluminum warming plate, which measures 17.8 D x 20.3 cm (7 x 8"). It fits easily in a cell culture hood or on a workbench, and features a UV resistant polypropylene housing that will not break down under germicidal UV lights. A 15-minute countdown timer is included to help track time-sensitive applications, and the warming plate is water resistant, making it safe for cleaning with ethanol or IPA.
