These high-quality vacuum desiccators are designed to maintain a gastight seal, ensuring reliable dry storage or experiments over extended periods. They are capable of sustaining a vacuum of 29 in.-Hg for over 72 hours at room temperature, providing vacuum integrity that reduces maintenance requirements. The VITON® 3-way valve facilitates consistent vacuum draw, vacuum release, or gas exchange, while a built-in analog vacuum gauge simplifies vacuum level checking. The units feature a high-quality silicone O-ring and a specially designed locking ring that enhance vacuum capability with minimal leakage. Amber-tinted UV blocking models effectively block 100% of UVA, B, and C light, protecting light-sensitive samples from damage and discoloration. Constructed from transparent polycarbonate, the desiccators are durable, easy to clean, chemical-resistant, and allow for quick visualization of their contents. A locking ring secures the top and bottom halves when not in use, adding convenience and safety during transport. Each desiccator includes a desiccant tray (desiccants sold separately) and is compatible with any vacuum system that has a free air capacity of 1.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) or greater. Customers can select from six models with internal volumes of 6, 10, and 20 liters, available in either clear or UV-blocking amber options.
