Protecting valuable humidity-sensitive items, such as reagents or electronics, is easy and fully automatic with Secador® auto-desiccator cabinets. The patented electronic desiccant regeneration module recharges the desiccant every 20 minutes, achieving a low %RH level on start-up and consistently maintaining low %RH. Durastar® co-polyester construction blocks 99% of UV light and resists staining, crazing, and chemical attack, while amber color models reduce visible light penetration by over 50%. The automatic dehumidification and desiccant regeneration cycle operates continuously every 20 minutes, and the color-indicating silica gel inside the desiccant regeneration module provides quick visual confirmation of desiccant status. The cabinet features a large door with an easy-to-view digital hygrometer, a patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for padlocks or tamper-evident seals, with the door opening right to left. Perforated shelves facilitate circulation of dry air, and the compact dimensions of 34.1W x 41.4CMD (13.4 x 16.3") allow for space-saving stacking of up to 2 units high. An extensive selection of sizes, styles, and colors are available in 100, 120, or 230V (CE marked) models for worldwide use. The 230V units include a power cord/transformer with Q-NA, Q-SAA, Q-UK, and Q-EU input connectors for North American, Australian, UK, and European configurations. Replacement shelves are available, and 4.0 units can be converted from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by turning the unit and ordering the appropriate number of shelves. Replacement Secador® auto desiccator module desiccant beads are designated as F42074-0020.
