Space saver desiccators will hold a full vacuum (29.9" Hg, 75.9 cm) at room temperature for 24 hours and remain airtight even if not under vacuum. They feature a polypropylene stopcock with a PTFE plug that accepts 6.4 mm (1/4") I.D. tubing, allowing a controlled entrance of air to prevent unnecessary turbulence. The flat-top dome maximizes interior space while a neoprene O-ring ensures a tight seal down to 0°C without the need for grease, although the ring will not be harmed if grease is applied. All models include a 0.32 cm (1/8") thick perforated plate.
