The Secador® Auto-Desiccator cabinets provide an automatic solution for protecting humidity-sensitive items such as reagents and electronics, featuring a patented electronic desiccant regeneration module that recharges the desiccant every 20 minutes, allowing for rapid attainment and maintenance of low relative humidity levels compared to other auto-desiccators that regenerate every 4 to 6 hours. Constructed from Durastar® Co-Polyester, the cabinets block 99% of UV light and resist staining, crazing, and chemical damage, while amber color models minimize visible light penetration by over 50%. Inside, a color-indicating silica gel allows for quick visual assessment of desiccant status. The cabinet boasts a large pull-down, oven-style door for easy access, features a digital hygrometer, patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for a padlock or tamper-evident seals. The overall dimensions are 51.8W x 41.4D x 34.1CMH (20.4 x 16.3 x 13.4"). Available in various sizes, styles, and colors, these models operate on 100, 120, or 230V (CE marked) configurations suitable for global use, with 230V units including a power cord/transformer with Q-NA, Q-SAA, Q-UK, and Q-EU input connectors. The setup includes two removable, perforated shelves to enhance dry air circulation, and replacement shelves are available for unit customization. The model can be converted from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by rotating the unit and ordering the appropriate shelves. For maintenance, the F42074-0020 replacement desiccant is meant for the Secador® Auto-Desiccator module.
