The Secador® line of desiccator cabinets is designed for the reliable storage of moisture and UV-sensitive products, featuring sturdy construction and an attractive design. The cabinets are available in various sizes, styles, and colors to cater to specific storage needs. Constructed from Durastar® co-polyester, these cabinets block 99% of UV light and are resistant to staining, crazing, and chemical attack. The rear-mounted gas ports are tapered to accept tubing with a 0.25" I.D. Amber color models significantly reduce visible light penetration by over 50%, making them ideal for light-sensitive materials such as reagents, analytical standards, and investigational compounds. The large doors provide maximum access to the interior and incorporate a patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for padlocks or tamper-evident seals. Perforated shelves enable effective dry air circulation, with additional space for desiccant located beneath the bottom shelf. Each cabinet includes an easy-to-view digital hygrometer positioned at the door front, and the side-swinging door opens to the left. Designed with a compact footprint of 34.1 cm W x 41.4 cm D, these cabinets save space and can be stacked up to three units high. Replacement shelves are available, and the cabinets can be converted from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by repositioning the unit and ordering the necessary number of shelves. The gas ports can be closed for use with standard desiccant cartridges, model numbers F420450250, F420450200, and F420480100. The cabinets are covered by a warranty, ensuring their quality and reliability.
