Pyrex® Spinbar® glass encapsulated Alnico magnet stirring bars are designed for high temperature applications, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 274°C (525°F). These stirring bars feature a completely smooth surface that provides "zero absorption," making them easy to clean. They comply with US Pharmacopeia specifications for Type I borosilicate glass and are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification. The stirring bars are autoclave safe. Users are advised to carefully place the Pyrex glass stirbars in the bottom of the stirring vessel to avoid breakage, rather than dropping them.
