The magnetic stirring bars are designed to reduce frequency of spinout in viscous solutions or when stirring at high speeds. Utilizing high magnetic field strength samarium cobalt (rare earth) magnets, these bars offer up to three times stronger coupling compared to Alnico magnetic stirring bars. The octagon shape with a pivot ring generates strong turbulence with minimal chattering and friction. Each stirring bar is encapsulated in bright green, FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® PTFE, making them easy to differentiate from other stirring bars. They are autoclave safe and are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
