This magnetic stirring bar is designed to fit into a standard 10mm light path cuvette, providing efficient vertical and horizontal mixing with minimal vortexing when used on a magnetic stirring machine. It features centrifugal pumping action produced by cross channels in the upper face, allowing for effective mixing without aeration, enabling uninterrupted photometric measurements during reagent additions. The unit is a one-piece molded design that will not scratch cuvettes and can also be utilized in test tubes. The stirring bar is equipped with an Alnico magnet that is encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. It is manufactured in a facility registered to ISO 9001:2015 standards, as verified by SGS certification, and the Teflon® used is a registered trademark of The Chemours Company FC LLC, utilized under license by Bel-Art Products, Inc.
