This bar features high-energy magnetic material combined with a fluted octagonal shape, delivering exceptional power despite its compact dimensions of 50mm (1.969") in length and a diameter of 21mm (0.83"). It is ideal for mixing viscous solutions with efficient, high-speed stirring capabilities. The samarium cobalt magnet is encapsulated in FDA-grade, USP Class VI Teflon® PTFE, ensuring strong coupling with drive magnets. The recessed flutes and distinct edges of this eight-sided bar increase surface area and generate strong turbulence, allowing for thorough mixing of liquids. Stability remains unaffected in vessels with curved bottoms. The product is manufactured in a facility certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards, as verified by SGS certification, and the autoclavable Teflon® is a registered trademark of The Chemours Company FC LLC, used under license by Bel-Art Products, Inc.
