The kit includes high-performance stirring bars designed to reduce the frequency of spinout in viscous solutions or when stirring at high speeds, utilizing the high magnetic field strength of samarium cobalt (rare earth) magnets which provide up to three times stronger coupling compared to Alnico magnetic stirring bars. This enhanced coupling capability ensures the stirring bar remains centered and rotates effectively, while the unique octagon shape with a pivot ring promotes strong turbulence with minimal chattering and friction. Each stirring bar is encapsulated in bright green, FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® PTFE, making it easy to differentiate from other stirring bars. Additionally, these stirring bars are autoclave safe and manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
