The Saturn Spinbar® magnetic stirring bar is designed to overcome the challenges presented by powders in liquids, featuring a large sphere at the center that elevates the ends of the bar while it spins, thereby reducing surface contact area and drag. It is available in lengths of 40mm or 50mm (1.5 or 2") to accommodate a variety of vessels with both round and flat bottoms. The bar is made with an Alnico magnet that is encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, offering superior chemical compatibility. The product is manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and is autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
