Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are the most commonly used shape, available in red, yellow, or blue. Each bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile design offers greater surface area and added turbulence compared to the smooth surface of cylindrical bars, while the pivot ring helps reduce friction and chattering during use. These stirring bars are autoclavable and are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
