The stirring kit is designed for stirring large volumes in vessels such as drums and tanks, featuring a molded pivot ring that minimizes the contact area between the bar and the vessel to reduce friction and chattering, thereby diminishing marring of plastic containers. Its multifaceted surface creates greater turbulence compared to similarly sized smooth cylindrical stirring bars. This kit is ideal for use with the Cool Stir® large volume stirrer, model H37028-0001, and is capable of stirring volumes up to 190 L (50 gallons). It includes an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The product is manufactured in a facility registered to ISO 9001:2015 standards, as verified by SGS certification, and is autoclave safe.
