The heavy-duty stirring bars are designed for use in large volumes of fluid with magnetic stirring machines, such as the Cool Stir Large Volume Stirrer, H37028-0001, or other similar machines. These stirring bars are compatible with vessels that have a minimum neck diameter of 32 mm. The multi-faceted surface enhances turbulence compared to similar-sized smooth cylindrical stirring bars. Each bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The product is manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, verified by SGS certification, and is autoclave safe.
