These stirbars feature polygon multifaceted surfaces that enhance turbulence compared to similar smooth cylindrical bars. They are designed with a center molded pivot ring that minimizes the contact area between the bar and the vessel, thereby reducing friction and chattering, while also diminishing marring of plastic containers. The stirbars are equipped with an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, providing superior chemical compatibility. They are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and are safe for autoclave use.
