The high-quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars ensure efficient mixing with consistent results, featuring a multi-faceted polygon shape that increases surface area to create added turbulence compared to similar-sized smooth cylindrical bars, thus providing thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spinbar to stay close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling effective scraping of solids. This design optimally couples with magnetic spindrive, ensuring the entire length of the stir bar remains in close contact. The bars are equipped with an Alnico magnet encased in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, providing superior chemical compatibility. They are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
