High quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars are designed for efficient mixing with consistent results. Their multi-faceted polygon shape increases the surface area, creating added turbulence compared to similar sized smooth cylindrical bars, ensuring thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spinbar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel, effectively "scraping" solids. These stirring bars couple optimally with magnetic Spindrive as the entire length of the stir bar maintains close contact. Featuring an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, they provide superior chemical compatibility. These products are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
