Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are designed for optimal performance and versatility in laboratory applications. Available in red, yellow, or blue, these stirring bars feature an alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile enhances stirring efficiency by providing a greater surface area and added turbulence compared to the smooth surface of cylindrical bars. Additionally, the pivot ring aids in reducing friction and chattering during operation. These stirring bars are autoclavable, ensuring easy sterilization. They are manufactured in a facility registered to ISO 9001:2015, as verified by SGS certification.
