High quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars ensure efficient mixing with consistent results. The multi-faceted polygon shape, featuring increased surface area, creates added turbulence compared to similarly sized smooth cylindrical bars, providing thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spinbar to stay close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling the effective scraping of solids. This design allows for optimal coupling with magnetic spindrive, as the entire length of the stir bar remains in close contact. The stirring bars include an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which offers superior chemical compatibility. These products are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
