The Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are designed for superior performance and are available in one size per pack. Each bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring excellent chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile of the stirring bars provides a greater surface area and increased turbulence compared to smooth cylindrical bars, enhancing stirring efficiency. The integrated pivot ring helps reduce friction and chattering during use. These stirring bars are autoclavable, making them suitable for sterilization in laboratory settings. They are manufactured in a facility certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards, verified by SGS certification.
