Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are designed for optimal performance in various laboratory settings. Available in red, yellow, or blue, these stirring bars feature an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which ensures superior chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile provides a greater surface area and added turbulence compared to the smooth surface of cylindrical bars, enhancing mixing efficiency. The pivot ring is specifically engineered to reduce friction and chattering during use. These stirring bars are autoclavable and manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
