The high-quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars ensure efficient mixing with consistent results. Featuring a multi-faceted polygon shape with increased surface area, these bars create added turbulence relative to similarly sized smooth cylindrical bars, providing thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spin bar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling optimal "scraping" of solids. This design facilitates optimal coupling with a magnetic spindrive, as the entire length of the stir bar is in close contact. The bars contain an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which offers superior chemical compatibility. These products are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
