The kit includes high quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars designed for efficient mixing with consistent results. The multi-faceted polygon shape features an increased surface area that creates added turbulence compared to similarly sized smooth cylindrical bars, providing thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spinbar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling effective "scraping" of solids. It offers optimal coupling with magnetic spindrive, ensuring that the entire length of the stir bar maintains close contact. Each stirring bar contains an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which provides superior chemical compatibility. The product is manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
