The Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are designed for optimal performance in laboratory applications and come in red, yellow, or blue options. Each stirring bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile of these bars provides greater surface area and increased turbulence, contrasting with the smooth surface found on cylindrical bars. The integrated pivot ring reduces friction and chattering during use, and these bars are autoclavable for sterilization. They are manufactured in a facility registered to ISO 9001:2015 standards, as verified by SGS certification.
