Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are the most commonly used shape, offered in one size per pack. These stirring bars feature an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile of the bars provides greater surface area and added turbulence compared to the smooth surface of cylindrical bars, while the pivot ring aids in reducing friction and chattering during operation. These stirring bars are autoclavable and are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
