The high-quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars are designed for efficient mixing with consistent results, featuring a multi-faceted polygon shape that increases the surface area to create added turbulence compared to similar-sized smooth cylindrical bars. This design ensures thorough mixing while the absence of a pivot ring allows the spin bar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling the "scraping" of solids. The stirring bars offer optimal coupling with magnetic spindrives as the entire length of the stir bar maintains close contact. Each bar is equipped with an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® PTFE coating, which provides superior chemical compatibility. These products are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
