Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are designed for optimal performance and are the most commonly used shape, offered one size per pack. Each bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile increases surface area and enhances turbulence compared to the smooth surface of cylindrical bars, while the pivot ring aids in reducing friction and chattering during use. These stirring bars are autoclavable and manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
