High quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars ensure efficient mixing with consistent results. The multi-faceted polygon shape, featuring an increased surface area, creates added turbulence relative to similarly sized smooth cylindrical bars, providing thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spinbar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling effective "scraping" of solids. These stirring bars achieve optimal coupling with magnetic spindrives since the entire length of the stir bar is in close contact. Each bar is made with an Alnico magnet that is encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. They are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
