These stirbars feature polygon multifaceted surfaces that enhance turbulence compared to similar smooth cylindrical bars. The center molded pivot ring minimizes the contact area between the bar and the vessel, effectively reducing friction and chattering while also diminishing marring of plastic containers. Each stirbar is equipped with an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which ensures superior chemical compatibility. The stirbars are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
