The Spinbar® stir bars, designed for use with a magnetic stirring plate, facilitate uniform, consistent, and thorough mixing of chemical solutions. Their contoured egg shape is particularly suited for round-bottom vessels and flasks, ensuring complete mixing while minimizing contact in plastic containers to reduce scraping. The egg shape also provides a pivot point without the need for a separate ring or abrupt contour changes, promoting smoother mixing. Each stir bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The magnets are shaped to ensure more uniform strength throughout the bar, although the three smallest sizes utilize a cylindrical magnet. Manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, these stir bars are also autoclave safe.
