Octagon magnetic stirring bars with integral pivot ring are available in red, yellow, or blue and feature an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The interrupted profile design provides a greater surface area and increased turbulence compared to the smooth surface of cylindrical bars, while the pivot ring helps reduce friction and chattering. These stirring bars are autoclavable and manufactured in a facility registered to ISO 9001:2015, as verified by SGS certification.
