High quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars are designed for efficient mixing with consistent results. The multi-faceted polygon shape increases surface area, creating added turbulence compared to similar sized smooth cylindrical bars, thus providing thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the Spinbar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling effective "scraping" of solids. This stir bar optimally couples with magnetic spindrives, ensuring that its entire length is in close contact with the magnetic field. Each stirring bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, offering superior chemical compatibility. These bars are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
