High quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars ensure efficient mixing with consistent results. The multi-faceted polygon shape features increased surface area that creates added turbulence relative to similar sized, smooth cylindrical bars, providing thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the Spinbar to stay close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling "scraping" of solids. This design allows for optimal coupling with magnetic spindrive since the entire length of the stir bar is in close contact. The stirring bars contain an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which offers superior chemical compatibility. These products are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
