Used in conjunction with a magnetic stirring plate, Spinbar® stir bars create uniform, consistent, and thorough mixing of chemical solutions. The contoured egg shape is ideal for use in round-bottom vessels and flasks, ensuring complete mixing while offering minimal contact in plastic containers to reduce scraping. This design provides a pivot point without a separate ring or abrupt contour changes for smoother mixing. Each stir bar features an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. The magnets are egg-shaped for more uniform strength throughout the bar, with the exception of the three smallest sizes, which have a cylindrical magnet. The stir bars are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility as verified by SGS certification, and the autoclave-safe Teflon® is a registered trademark of The Chemours Company FC LLC, used under license by Bel-Art Products, Inc.
